Brampton Tournament Winner

Forest Glen Giants (Bantam Major) won 5 games straight to take the Championship in the Bantam Select Tournament hosted by Brampton Minor Baseball Association this past weekend (June 20, 21 and 22).  The victors are pictured below.   Way to go, Giants!!

 

 

 

Pee Wee and Bantam Select Tournaments

 

Forest Glen hosted both a Pee Wee Select and a Bantam Select Tournament on the weekend of June 6 to 8, 2008.   Twenty-two teams participated in the two tournaments, including teams from Barrie, Brampton, Guelph, King City, Leaside, North York, Orillia, Waterdown and Whitby.

The Mississauga Majors edged the Forest Glen Giants (Major) by a score of 5-4 in the Bantam Championship Game, while the Waterdown Wolves defeated the Thornhill Reds, also by a score of 5-4, in the Pee Wee Championship Game.
