AA Tryouts for the 2011 Season

The FGBA will be holding tryouts for the 2011 season

at 7:00 PM at Fleetwood Park on the following dates:

for any changes to the specific dates and times for your level.

Players who reside outside of the Forest Glen area should bring a release

from the MBA Association with which they last played.

 


Junior Field Day

(for players at the BlastBall, T-Ball and Rookie Ball levels)

The FGBA's Junior Field Day will take place on Saturday, Sept. 11

from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM.

Players and Coaches -- You're Invited!!

Where?        Fleetwood Park (2000 Burnhamthorpe Rd. E., by Etobicoke

                                           Creek on the South Side)

 

What?          Skills Competitions focussing on running, catching and throwing.

                      Presentation of Trophies and Team Pictures for

                                 FGBA Players.

Why?            Fun, competition, prizes.

The close-out of a great season with some                          friendlycompetition.

What Else?  Lunch will be provided for all players and will be available for

                                            non-players at a small fee.

                                Fund-raising raffle for great prizes.

Please RSVP to your coach by Tuesday, September 7.

Senior Field Day

(for players at the Tyke A to Midget AA levels)

The FGBA's Senior Field Day will take place on Saturday, Sept. 11

from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM.

 

Where?        Fleetwood Diamond

 

What?          Skills Competitions

                      Long Ball

                      Gold Glove

                      Bunt Bowling

                      Team Relay

                      Presentation of Trophies

 

Why?             The close-out of a great season with some friendly competition.

 

What Else?  Lunch will be provided for all players and will be available for non-                                                    players at a small fee.

 Fund-raising raffle for great prizes.

Coaches:      Please RSVP with your estimated number of players by Tuesday,

                                September 7.

Annual General Meeting

The FGBA's Annual General Meeting will take place at 7:30 PM

on Wednesday, October 20 at 405 Brunel Road.

Coaches, parents and guardians of players, and players 18 years of age and older are encouraged to take part in the meeting which will, among other things, elect our 2011 Executive.
